Co scholastic- Co curricular & Extra Curricular Activities

It is only through this exposure that a child becomes aware of his/her special interests and talents. This in turn allows a child to receive appreciation and acclaim and to grow with confidence.
Co scholastic areas consists of 4 parts 

  1. Life skills : consisting of thinking skills, social skills and emotional skills.
  2. Work education.
  3. Visual and performing arts.
  4. Attitudes and Values : attitude towards teachers, schoolmates, school programs and environment. Value system refers to the frame work which must be developed right through primary to secondary levels.

Co curricular

Co-curricular activities stimulate playing, acting, singing, recitation, speaking and  narrating   in students. Activities like participation in game debates, music, drama, etc., help in achieving overall functioning of education. Our cultural activities enable child to be confidence and develop their talent and inner skill.

House System

House system is an important part of school life at JBM enhancing the spirit of team work, social interaction and leadership skills. It’s purpose is to develop confidence, pride & foster school culture through wide range of sporting and cultural activities. Regular inter house competitions are organized, points are awarded and best house trophy instituted is given at the end of the year.

We at Bloomfield, Ara  has  introduced new clubs to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities, interact with peers, obtain comprehensive knowledge on areas of their interest in a supervised setting, and form relationships with other students and teachers. These clubs are the platform for students to collaborate, learn and perform confidently and independently.

club will encourage students to cultivate a different perception of life. Students get an opportunity to showcase and groom their talents. Activities conducted in schools not only benefit in shaping their interests and hobbies but also develop their leadership and social skills.

The aim of Bloomfield international School, Ara is to offer holistic education by balancing academics with extracurricular activities. Our syllabus is planned to make learning less stressful for the students without compromising quality. That’s why our schools build various clubs that cater to various interests. We at Bloomfield believe in the importance of club activities for students because of the below-mentioned reasons:

  • Students learn from each other: Whether they are working on the project in a group or separately, each one of them can learn from each other. They gain new insights and also learn the significance of valuing another person’s viewpoint.
  • Students realize the value of unity: Clubs at school build small communities. They entice people who share the same interests such as in music, dance, science, arts, or sports. Club activities assist students to cultivate a sense of unity and working with others in reaching the same goals.
  • Students develop social skills: Clubs facilitate students to meet, mix, and work together with other students from different backgrounds in a diverse environment. They come out of their comfort zone and socialize with other students which are vital in the lives of adolescents.
  • Students become more confident and independent: Clubs offer plenty of opportunities for students to take on leadership roles and show off their talents through different activities. Such initiatives enable the students to discover that they can be productive. This increases their level of confidence and their sense of independence.

Clubs at Bloomfield that help the students to learn new skills and engage in different activities

  • Dance Club: Develop an understanding of different dance forms, expressions, and rhythms. Students learn many dance form which forms the ABCs of pure dancing
  • Science Club: Inculcates scientific approach and delivers opportunities to develop an interest in projects to train students in techniques of innovation and creativity.
  • Math Club: Develops mathematical skills and introduces to a creative way of cracking tricky mathematical problems.
  • Cookery Club: Builds confidence and knowledge about food preparation, cooking, and presenting.
  • Music Club: Encourages students to express themselves through music. Students learn different musical instruments
    and acquire detailed knowledge about the same.
  • Computer Club: Aims in increasing students’ awareness of computers and their uses in daily life. Students gain
    knowledge of information technology to better prepare to handle information-enabled devices.
  • Art Club: Develops imagination, creative thinking, and self-expression. Students learn new techniques and mediums
    of art through hands-on activities.

Sport & yoga Club: Bloomfield International School understands that sports develop physical as well as mental strength in students. Sports are important in schools because it helps to teach various skills to students like leadership, patience, patience, team efforts, and social skills.

Community & Social Work

At Bloomfield School, Ara we believe in developing social responsibility through regular community service thereby sensitising our students to the wide gap that exists between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’ and making them realise that they can make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged segment of the society.

  • Accompanied by their teachers, they also visit Non-Formal Education Project in ara The school provides educational material to the students who live in slum areas.
  • Students collect notebooks, toys and eatables and donate them to NGO plan to empower.
  •  Escorted by their teachers, our students distribute food items and clothes to the slum dwellers on many occasion
  • A Project is organisd  in the month of October/November every year. The objective of which is to engender awareness and sensitivity towards the deprived section of the society. Students and teachers collectively raise funds, the proceeds of which, are spent in buying gifts for the poor children and their families
